Well, sort of.

Technically, I jumped on this bandwagon a few weeks ago. When I started getting hit by dozens of referral spams a day, I decided it was time to give it a try. With a little bit of help from our hero, Scott, I got it up and running on the early versions.

This evening, I finally got a few moments to install the released version of dasBlogCE. All seems to have gone quite well, thank you. Chris, Clemens, Omar, and Scott - Thank you for your work!

Now, if we can just stay one step ahead of the spammers!

Cool! Good job. Your site is definitely faster.

Hey Rich -- does MailToWeblog work for you? I've been unable to post via MailToWeblog since upgrading to 1.7. Wondering if it's something specific to me or an instance of a more general problem.

Well, I'm not using it, Steve, but it appears, based on your blog, that you have resolved the issue.

The only trouble I had was the folder permissions were not quite what they needed to be. I installed into a different directory than 1.6 was in and pointed the subdomain there. As I recall, when I first created my dasBlog site, the sub-folders had their parent's permissions. This must have changed at my host.
